Fiona Mathew

Fiona joined Strategic Pay in July 2023 after a valuable stint in the payroll and HR advisory space in a large government organisation. With experience including recruitment, HR advisory and teaching, Fiona enjoys exposure to all aspects of HR.

Fiona completed her Master’s degree in Business Administration with Human Resources as a specialization from the University of Mumbai, India.

After working as an Associate Professor of Business Management Studies at her Alma Mater, St. Xavier’s Autonomous College, Fiona chose to take a break from her career to raise her family, during which time she moved across the globe to New Zealand. Joining the workforce after this rewarding break was rather challenging, but worth every bit. She has enjoyed the diversity of cultures and the melting-pot that is Wellington.

Beyond work, Fiona enjoys hosting friends over brunch, being out in the sunshine, and spending time with her family.
